Our strong lil' man...

Six and 1/2 months ago if you would of told me my son would already be highly mobile I would of laughed.

My child, at his last doctor's appointment, was 13 lbs and some change. That is smaller than some kids are born! But, he is a strong lil booger! Our little dude is already pulling up on things and wobbling around on his toes... with some assistance, of course. He moves really fast... we have to keep an extra special eye on him or he will run into another room! Okay not run, but... well, scramble on all fours.

My wife, Laura, made a bet with me, not sure of the stakes yet, but made a bet that he would be walking by nine months at the rate he is going.

Stay tuned!

It's been done before. My boy started walking at the end of nine.

Our son walked at an early nine months.. His big sister knocked him down for the first time 20 seconds later.

But lil' man can walk at 9 no problem..

11 for Lukas and that seemed early. You need more time to prepare!

Dude don't be too eager for the walking. Get a rubber suit made.

He is like his mom and aunts --- eager to see the world! Nana

Wow, must be quite the sight to see a little 9 month old person walking around.... at that size it almost seems unnatural, lol.

You may win that bet - my son was wobbling around, holding on to the table and couch and everything else in the house very early - but waited until the day after his first birthday to walk across the room on his own - as if he'd been able to do it all along and just didn't really feel like walking.

He is just too adorable! Now the fun part right? Chasing him around!

Totally know the feeling of the mobility thing! It seems only yesterday that Olive (my 8 plus month old daughter) was a potted plant. Put her down, she stayed. Now, not only is she faster than me as a crawler, she will be walking any day! Uf-da!

Good luck
